The problem solver serum [pigment spots] fades pigment spots with regular use and prevents them from forming again. The specially developed formulation contains, among other things, niacinamide, resorcinol and acetyl glycosamine. They counteract excessive melanin synthesis caused by hyperactive melanocytes. Acetyl glycosamine and resorcinol, in turn, regulate the synthesis of new melanin. Selected peptides prevent melanin from being transported to the visible surface of the skin and thus ensure an even complexion. A highly specific hyaluronic acid modified by linoleic acid accelerates the breakdown of melanin and visibly reduces age spots.

Explanation of ingredients

Niacinamide is a form of vitamin B3 and a real all-rounder in skin care. It normalizes the skin's sebum production, freeing the pores from sebum, helping to refine them while protecting them from re-clogging. Its anti-inflammatory property not only protects against acne bacteria, but also against free radicals and UV radiation and reduces redness. It also strengthens the skin barrier and can lighten dark areas (pimple marks).

Azelaic acid acts like a gentle peeling (horn-dissolving) and removes dead cells. The acid refines the skin's surface texture, can reduce pimple marks and acts as a strong antioxidant against free radicals (e.g. UV rays, environmental toxins). The effect is enhanced in combination with niacinamide and tranexamic acid.

Tranexamic acid works against pigment spots, refines pimples and scars and gives facial skin a fresh complexion again. The substance also soothes the skin and helps it restore its natural protection.

Dipotassium Glycyrrhizinate has an anti-inflammatory effect. Its sebum-regulating properties inhibit the excessive production of skin lipids by the sebaceous glands. It soothes stressed skin, is self-emulsifying and is able to stabilize emulsions so that the proportion of emulsifiers in the formulation can be reduced.

Hyaluronic acid modified by alpha-linoleic acid is a highly effective anti-pigmentation agent. It breaks down melanin and has a skin-lightening effect.

Glycyrrhetinic acid has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. The acid helps the skin repair DNA that has been damaged by UV exposure. It is obtained from the roots of the Chinese liquorice plant (Glycyrrhiza glabra).

SH-Octapeptide-24, SH-Tripeptide-5 and SH-Nonapeptide-1 counteract hyperactive melanocytes, thus regulating melanin synthesis and light pigment spots.

Butylresorcinol disrupts melanin production in the skin by inhibiting the enzyme tyrosinase and the protein TRP-1, which are required for melanin synthesis. In addition, the peroxidase activity is reduced, which makes the ingredient even more effective. The production of black melanin - which gives pigment spots their intense color - is then blocked. The result is discoloration of pigment spots.

Acetyl-glucosamine discolors pigment spots and disrupts melanin production by inhibiting the enzyme tyrosinase and the protein TRP-1, which are required for melanin synthesis.

Helianthus Annuus Seed Oil is Sunflower oil with a high vitamin E content to strengthen the natural function of the skin barrier, for an even complexion, more elasticity and to minimize wrinkles.
