Explanation of ingredients

Azelaic acid works like a gentle peeling (keratolytic) and removes dead cells. The acid inhibits the formation of new blackheads, cleans the pores and refines the skin's surface. In addition, as a strong antioxidant, it counteracts harmful oxygen radicals, can reduce pimple marks and inhibits the Propionibacterium acnes from multiplying. Azelaic acid is obtained from: wheat, rye and barley.

Niacinamide is a form of vitamin B3 and a real all-rounder in skin care. It normalizes the skin's sebum production, freeing the pores from sebum, helping to refine them while protecting them from re-clogging. Its anti-inflammatory property not only protects against acne bacteria, but also against free radicals and UV radiation and reduces redness. It also strengthens the skin barrier and can lighten dark areas (pimple marks).

Zinc PCA regulates sebum production, binds moisture and inhibits bacterial growth. PCA (pyrrolidone carboxylic acid) is also a component of the natural NMF (natural moisturizing factors in the skin) that promotes elasticity and reduces skin irritation.

Vitamin C with gold particles acts as a potent antioxidant that protects the skin's collagen structure from free radicals and supports the body in the production of new collagen: the formation of wrinkles is slowed down. It also ensures an even skin tone, balances pigment disorders and prevents or lightens age spots.Vitamin C also has an anti-inflammatory effect and soothes the complexion. Beard lichen extract (usnic acid) inhibits excessive proliferation (bacterial growth & reproduction), works against light impurities, alleviates sunburn damage and has an antibacterial effect.

Willow bark extract contains polyphenols (also flavonoids) and salicin and therefore has a skin-soothing and antimicrobial effect. The extract actively fights pimples and blackheads, soothes the skin, stimulates the metabolism and has a slightly keratolytic (skin peeling) effect.

Cucumber fruit extract provides moisture, fights free radicals and promotes cell regeneration. The acids it contains fight pimples and blackheads, soften the skin through enzymatic reactions and relieve itching.

Tranexamic acid works against redness and pigment spots, refines pimple marks and scars, gives the face a fresh complexion, soothes and supports the skin in restoring its natural protection.

Dexpanthenol is a provitamin B5, which is converted into pantothenic acid (real vitamin B5) in the body and is used as a miracle weapon. It supports the skin's natural healing process, has an anti-inflammatory effect and repairs minor skin damage. It moisturizes and helps prevent premature skin aging by improving elasticity. It can also help refine acne scars.

Tocopherol is a particularly effective vitamin E, which protects the skin against skin aging, inflammation and wrinkling for a long time.
