Explanation of ingredients

Azelaic acid works like a gentle peeling (keratolytic) and removes dead cells. The acid inhibits the formation of new blackheads, cleans the pores and refines the skin's surface. In addition, as a strong antioxidant, it counteracts harmful oxygen radicals, can reduce pimple marks and inhibits the Propionibacterium acnes from multiplying. Azelaic acid is obtained from: wheat, rye and barley.

Niacinamide is a form of vitamin B3 and a real all-rounder in skin care. It normalizes the skin's sebum production, freeing the pores from sebum, helping to refine them while protecting them from re-clogging. Its anti-inflammatory property not only protects against acne bacteria, but also against free radicals and UV radiation and reduces redness. It also strengthens the skin barrier and can lighten dark areas (pimple marks).

Zinc PCA regulates sebum production, binds moisture and inhibits bacterial growth. PCA (pyrrolidone carboxylic acid) is also a component of the natural NMF (natural moisturizing factors in the skin) that promotes elasticity and reduces skin irritation.

Dexpanthenol is a provitamin B5, which is converted into pantothenic acid (real vitamin B5) in the body and is used as a miracle weapon.
