The foundation of skinmade's system care is a personalized 2-level biomarker treatment – individual skin concerns are treated effectively.
Level 1 - The dermatological basis for treating skin concerns is an intact skin barrier. Our personalized level 1 products regulate the skin's hydration and lipids and thus bring the skin barrier and the acid mantle into their biological balance. This allows the skin to regenerate and optimally fulfill its barrier function (e.g. protection from external influences).
Level 2 – Starting from an intact skin barrier, level 2 is about the targeted treatment of the specific skin concerns of wrinkles, dry skin, blemishes and acne, hyperpigmentation as well as redness and itching (as therapy support: rosacea).
Biomarkeranalyse mit skinmade’s Smart Spectrum
The Smart Spectrum is a technology developed in-house by skinmade. With the help of our Smart Spectrum, a hyperspectral measurement of skin biomarkers can be carried out. Biomarkers are biological features of natural and / or pathological processes & changes in the body. Thanks to our non-invasive hyperspectral measurement, we reach deep layers of the skin. Through the cells' ability to absorb light, we detect skin biomarkers and the current condition of the skin.

skinmade's artificial intelligence, which we've now been training for 10 years, interprets this data and calculates personalized formulations that are produced fresh in skinmade's production system in Stuttgart.
The goal is to improve the skin's biological processes. This is a continuous process in which the formulations are repeatedly tailored to the current condition of the skin. In this way, the skin's biomarkers are gradually brought to their optimal value.

The production process was developed by us, back when we were scientists at the Fraunhofer Institute for Manufacturing Engineering and Automation. With skinmade's Smart Spectrum, which sits in your institute, we connect your institute easily and effortlessly to skinmade's cyber-physical production system in Stuttgart. You analyze your customers' biomarkers in just a few minutes. Your customers can even choose their own scent and texture. The results of the biomarker analysis as well as the calculated personalized system care for your customers are sent directly & in real time to skinmade's production system in Stuttgart and produced fresh & automatically. Within 2 days, your customers receive their personalized system care delivered by post straight to their home.

skinmade's personalized system care works at the cellular level
Our personalized system care works in a targeted way within specific skin cells. With sophisticated and innovative penetration systems, we deliberately guide actives into the skin cells where they're needed. We use unique, mutually reinforcing combinations of actives. Thanks to our unconventional and innovative approach, we can, for example, stimulate the production of the body's own collagen and hyaluronic acid, reduce the production and transport of melanin, reduce inflammation, embed capillaries into the dermis, and much more.
When selecting our raw materials, we hold ourselves to the highest quality standards. Of course, our products are vegan and cruelty-free.
We develop all our products in-house in our own lab in Stuttgart. In our development, we always stay true to our scientific origins at the Fraunhofer Institute – innovative and unconventional.
