_Azelaic acid acts as a gentle peeling (keratolytic) and removes dead cells. The acid inhibits the formation of new blackheads, cleans the pores and refines the surface of the skin. In addition, it acts as a powerful antioxidant that counteracts harmful oxygen radicals, can reduce acne scars and inhibits the proliferation of Propionibacterium acnes. Azelaic acid is obtained from: wheat, rye and barley.


_Niacinamide is a form of vitamin B3 and a real all-rounder in skin care. It normalizes the skin's sebum production, frees the pores of sebum, helps to refine them and at the same time protects them from becoming clogged again. Its anti-inflammatory properties not only protect against acne bacteria, but also against free radicals and UV radiation and reduce redness.
